Miley Cyrus avoids Disney Channel

Miley Cyrus, the star of Disney Channels hit “Hannah Montana” is skipping the press event scheduled for today’s Disney Channel Games in Orlando.

Disney acquires; Disney Stores

Disney has finalized the buy back of the Disney Stores from Children’s Place.
The terms include the acquisition of approximately 220 stores and the closure of 98 locations in the U.S. and Canada.
James D. Fielding was appointed as president of Disney Stores Worldwide.
Children’s Place anticipates incurring $50 million in costs during the transition.
